About Winston Artory Group
WAG is transforming how art and collectibles are valued, managed, and traded. Born from the merger of Winston Art Group (the largest independent appraisal and advisory firm in the U.S.) and Artory (a pioneer in art tokenization), we combine deep industry expertise with technologies like AI and blockchain to modernize a $2.9 trillion global asset class.
We’re already generating significant revenue and recently raised our Series A from top-tier VCs. Now, we’re building the next-generation platform to unlock liquidity, trust, and intelligence in the art market—and we’re looking for exceptional engineers to help us do it.
Why Join Us
Meaningful equity and competitive compensation
High-impact role at a growing company with revenue, funding, and a compelling vision
Build at the intersection of art, fintech, AI, and blockchain
A collaborative, pragmatic team that values speed, clarity, and technical quality
Remote-flexible culture with an HQ in NYC
Backed by top VCs and trusted by leading collectors, advisors, and institutions
About the role
We’re hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help us build intelligent, scalable, and beautifully crafted applications across our collector portal, internal tools, and data interfaces. You’ll work across the stack, from designing expressive UI components to optimizing APIs and integrating LLM-based features that power our next-generation art and collectibles platform.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. We move fast using tools like Cursor and Claude Code, and actively leverage AI in our product and development workflows. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys rapid prototyping and iteration, and believes AI development tools can 10X their output.
What you'll do
Design, build, and maintain fullstack features across our core platform, using React, TypeScript, Python, and PostgreSQL
Collaborate with product and design to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on new tools and user experiences
Build intelligent interfaces that surface LLM outputs, human-in-the-loop workflows, and real-time data insights
Work across layers to integrate with backend APIs, data services, and AI pipelines
Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, including component design, state management, and performance optimization
Own backend endpoints and service logic, focusing on reliability, observability, and scaling
Ship fast, learn from users, and continuously improve the product based on real-world feedback
Qualifications
Have 5+ years of fullstack engineering experience, ideally at product-focused startups
Are fluent in React, TypeScript, and Python, and have built production-grade applications across both frontend and backend
Have experience working with LLM APIs, including prompt design, streaming outputs, retries, and integrating human feedback
Are comfortable moving between frontend polish and backend performance, and know how to prioritize effectively in a lean team
Have strong product instincts and care about UX, speed, and usability—not just technical implementation
Thrive in environments with high ambiguity, short iteration loops, and tight feedback cycles
Have worked with REST or GraphQL APIs, and understand basic DevOps principles (CI/CD, observability, Terraform, AWS)
