Position Overview
The Revenue Operations Specialist ensures that the Business Development team has the right tools, processes, and insights to succeed, while also building a strong operational backbone through Salesforce and revenue systems. By bridging strategy, technology, and frontline support, the Specialist increases BD effectiveness, improves data-driven decision-making, and ultimately drives revenue growth.
This role supports the two co-heads of the Business Development department as well as a team spanning across the US. You will work closely with many BD professionals who manage relationships across multiple time zones, client segments, and markets.
This roles requires 4-5 days / week in our NYC office.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Administration & Data Management
Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce, ensuring data integrity, accurate pipeline tracking, and smooth integration with other business tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; recommend and implement improvements.
Maintain and update client records in Salesforce, including contact details, collection information, meeting notes, and follow-up actions.
Cleanse and structure lead, client, and referral data for reporting.
Conduct research on potential new clients using sources such as Wealth-X, Forbes, and internal referral lists.
Train team members on Salesforce best practices and ensure proper usage.
BD Support & Reporting
Assist BD reps with personalized campaigns, automations, and follow-ups.
Monitor progress on individual BD plans, track outreach activity, and flag overdue or outstanding follow-ups.
Prepare agendas and briefing materials for client and prospect meetings; capture meeting notes and ensure timely input into CRM.
Build and maintain dashboards to provide real-time insights into pipeline health, BD performance, and revenue metrics.
Assist with internal BD reporting and quarterly review preparation.
Track KPIs across BD performance, lead conversion, and revenue contribution.
Present insights to inform go-to-market and growth strategy.
Field and direct inquiries that come through the BD team’s general inbox.
Process Optimization
Identify inefficiencies in BD and revenue workflows; recommend process improvements.
Automate manual tasks and streamline lead qualification, follow-up, and reporting.
Collaborate with marketing, advisory, appraisal, and appraisal manager teams to ensure alignment across the customer journey.
Gather feedback from BD reps on prospect objections, client needs, and competitor insights to improve sales strategy.
Event & Conference Coordination
Support logistics for internal and client-facing events, including guest list tracking, calendar invites, materials prep, and on-site execution.
Attend select art market events and conferences alongside the BD team to support brand visibility and deepen business relationships.
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in revenue operations, sales enablement, or business development support.
Proven experience as a Salesforce administrator, including CRM data management and reporting.
Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel and data reporting tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create impactful client-facing materials.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with strong attention to detail.
Experience working with UHNW clients is preferred.
Salary Range:
$85,000-$110,000 + equity and annual discretionary bonus
Pay ranges at WAG are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time.
In addition to base salaries, employees at WAG may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
